This Is Why I Have Race Clothes
The closest I came to running this weekend was wearing my Buckeye Half Marathon hoodie. It's good to parade around in my race swag, which tells everyone that I'm a runner instead of actually, you know, running. But I don't want to brag. I'll only wear my Akron Marathon long-sleeve tech shirt as an undershirt for my Cleveland Half Marathon T-shirt in the cold. My 5K and 10K T-shirts are subbing as hand towels while I finish my laundry. And I'll only use my finishing medals as keychain fobs. But do you see my running shoes? I could go at any time. I might take off and bust a quick 400 meters just to get my heart rate up.
