Flashback Friday: Done Cleaning

Last night the Enthusiast mercifully declared an end to the cleanse. Eleven days with a two-day break in the middle is clean enough for our bowels.

I don't know how well it worked, but pooping twice a day has to do something, right? I lost a little weight, but the best thing this cleanse did was get us both back to eating healthier. The holidays really screwed us up with huge portions, rich foods and way too many sweets. Yes, I know we probably could have improved our eating habits directly, but having this cleanse forced the issue.

The only problem now is that I have to wait so long for Happy Hour.

Back Talk
Wherein, come on, people, would please read the whole post before you post a comment.

Perhaps MCM Mama used a reverse taper when reading my last blog post and skipped the beginning: "French cuffed windpants, huh? LMAO. Like Jess, I totally had that move down with my jeans.

"I'm just trying to figure out why you bought the outfit in the first place..."

Answer: Again, it was a gift from a few years ago.

Xenia is OK with passe fashion choices: "At least with sweatpants, people would think you were trying to emulate Rocky. That's still cool, right?"

Answer: I'm going to start running in Chuck Taylors. The minimalist people will love that they have zero heel drop.

Sun Runner must think I'm a real youngster: "I'm surprised you're old enough to remember French cuffs."

Answer: I feel like I just got carded at the liquor store.

TNTCoach Ken must have some raging bowels: "When are bowel experiences pleasant?????"

Answer: I assume you've never had one of those exultant shits.

On that note, Happy Hour is nearly upon us, teammates. Have a finely brewed weekend. Run well and drink well. Cheers!

Just wait until you reach an age where you are simultaneously annoyed ("stupid idiot can't tell I'm over 21? Jesus!") and elated ("holy shit, I can still pull off 21?! Awesome!") by the fact you get carded.
