Flashback Friday: To What, Exactly?

Considering not a single post made it online here this week, there's not much to flashback to today.

I managed a single run this week and a nice, brisk hike yesterday with the Enthusiast and Dobson, our Old English Sheepdog. Many photos were taken, but sadly not a single one to share with you. Such is the nature of deadline week.

Unshockingly, the weather has returned to freezing temperatures and snow, but we remain vigilant in our expectation of Spring's arrival in Northeast Ohio.

Back Talk
Wherein there are no comments to which I respond.

Since I have met my work duties for the day, I'll open the Booze Hounds floor to questions from the audience. I'll actually respond to comments made today until 5 p.m. EST.

Happy Hour is nearly upon us, teammates! Have a finely brewed weekend. Run well and drink well. Cheers!

Describe the circumstances surrounding your "beerpiphany": the realization that there is a world of beers beyond Bland American Lagers, and which beer(s) brought you to said realization.

There is only one question that needs to be asked on this Friday: what fine brew will the Viper be indulging in at beer-thirty?

@Sun Runner: My "beerpiphany" was the result of thinking I didn't like beer at all. I started my boozing life as strictly a Scotch man. I think Newcastle was the first beer I liked, and developed a taste for darker beers.

@Jamoosh: That all depends on what's on tap. I like to fly by the seat of my pants. However, Great Lakes has a new doppelbock out that I'd like to try, called "The Doppelrock."

I have three questions.

1) If you met Ian and Nitmos together, who would you punch in the face first?

2) If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

3) When are you getting baptized?

@Xenia: Too many questions!
1) I have two fists.
2) Greece and Scotland are high on my list.
3) April 10.

I missed the deadline, but Jamoosh asked what I wanted to know. Can you please report back on how Doppelrock was, if that was indeed what you had?

I also missed your deadline. But your answer to Xenia's first question makes everything better.

Just tried out the Doppelrock last Friday as well. What'd you think? Our campus bar has it on tap for $1.75 during happy hour!
