Flashback Friday: Humbled Indeed

What's another few more inches? I'm either numb from the cold or from shock. Relentless snow. There is no more to say. We humbly bow before our wintry master.

"Please, old man, have mercy."

There was a Level 2 emergency in the next county to the west. The roads were clear from traffic during my morning commute. Only a few times did I pass another driver. For the most part, I pretended to be a rally racer as I bombed through the snow like Santa on his sleigh. Only thrice did I have to use corrective steering to prevent sliding into a ditch.

Once again, running has been minimalized, as opposed to minimalist running. Hark! A weekend approaches, and a thirst grows.

Back Talk
Wherein we all want a little recognition, please.

Sun Runner isn't so humble about her weather predictions: "I believe I said the same thing in my post. Sheesh. Why does Nitmos get all the love?"

Answer: Because I was calling out his idiocy. Shall I call more attention to yours?

Carolina John should disappear into a sink hole for his comment: "At least the Enthusiast has the balls to punch you when you deserve it. You should really try and hang on to her. ha! When's the big day again?"

Answer: I assure you there are no balls. Commit this to memory: nine, ten, eleven.

Finally, is the Green Flash Barleywine better than this beer or that beer?

Answer: Let the Theory of Relativity and the Heisenberg Principle be your guide. There's no accounting for taste.

Happy Hour is nearly upon us, teammates. Have a finely brewed weekend. Run well and drink well. Cheers!

I may or may not have thrown a hissy fit this morning upon seeing more snow. Effing snow. When will it ever stop?!?!?

Perhaps I don't fully understand the Heisenberg Principle, because it would seem to me the more you drink the more you know exactly where you are but perhaps not exactly how much you drink...wait...I get it now.
