Saturday, the heat just about killed me during my long run. Yesterday, a long sleeved shirt felt perfectly comfortable, as I knocked out four quick (relatively, speaking) miles.
September in Northeast Ohio brings volatile weather, 90 degrees one day and 60 the next. Sunny or storming, you never know what to expect. But running in this cooler weather felt wonderful.
There was spring in my stride. The miles felt effortless. It was the kind of run you dream about, the kind you carry with you, the kind that makes you think "this is why I run."

We've got similar fall-like weather in FL right now. Yesterday's run (and this morning's hike) were glorious.
The above commentor must not live in South Florida! It's nuthin but heat, heat, heat here!
Yes, I think the best runs of the year are those when you first come off the hot season. If only Fall didn't have to be followed by Winter...
Have fun this weekend bro! Congrats again.
An early congrats to you and the Enthusiast for enduring your big fat Greek wedding this weekend! Also, hope your 20-miler today doesn't suck monkey balls.
OPA!
We've had good running weather. Now I have to figure out why I'm not running. Have a fabulous weekend!
Good luck this weekend and congrats to both you and the Enthusiast!
