My morning running hasn't been as strong this week. I woke up this morning as was like, "nope," and went back to bed. However, with today's beautiful weather, I'm hoping for a post-work run around the neighborhood before embarking on this weekend's revelry.
Though, perhaps I've already started ...
Let me just say that Great Lakes' Lake Erie Monster is on tap at the Winking Lizard, which is just a short walk from my office. And let me also just say that 9 percent ABV with such a drinkable flavor can get on top of you pretty quick if all you've had beforehand is a breakfast smoothie.
Back Talk
Wherein there seems to be some omissions in my postings of late, apart from not posting anything whatsoever.
Both Ironman By 30 and Jamoosh noticed a conspicuous lack of Memorial Day beveraging in my only other post this week.
Answer: Here I make amends with the following imbibables from the holiday: Smithwicks, Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald, an accidentally poured margarita with 1800 tequila, Stroh's (yes, Stroh's) and Dos Equis Amber.
Happy Hour is nearly upon us, teammates! Have a finely brewed weekend. Run well and drink well. Cheers!

I'm so happy to hear that Stroh's is still being brewed somewhere. Unless, like Blatz, there is just a huge warehouse with 40 year old stored Stroh's waiting for the Great Stroh's Rush that never matierialized.
I could have had a Schlitz, but I just could bring myself to do it, new old recipe or not.
Had a Edmund Fitzgerald while in Kentucky. Good stuff.
My Grandpa is going to be pissed that you are drinking up the lingering supply of Stroh's. You must be an old fart just like him.
Ahh Dos Equis because you are a very important person (said with the accent). Enjoy the weekend and here's hoping it brings as many miles as drinks or drinks as miles...or just drinks!
