Faulty Forecasting

I was wrong Friday. Shocker, I know.

I did run three miles on Thursday night, but I did not run at all on Friday. It rained, and I'm not into running enough at the moment to go out in such weather.

The rain didn't let up until well after I left the ballgame after sitting through halfway through the top of the fifth inning (three-hour rain delay). Those pansies wussed out just five outs shy of a regulation game.

It was disappointing that I didn't get to see the finish, but there is no better way to spend an afternoon than at the ballpark with good company. I don't care if it's raining or my team loses. It's worth it to smuggle Cracker Jacks into my mouth underneath a giant blue poncho.

I ran a little under five miles on Saturday, veering off my usual beaten path to run some rough trails. I need to do more of that. The usual routine bores me shitless anymore.

Preach on, brother.

Ahh it's nice to see you're still drinking and WINE now?!? (Last post, I'm too lazy to do commentary on all of them :P) What is the world coming too?! Are you going to start drinking Thunder Bolt Beer now? Or whatever that ghetto fabulous beer the homies roll with . . .

You know what bores me shitless? Listening to people whine about not getting their planned runs in.

Are you sure you were eating Cracker Jacks or drinking Jack Daniel during the three hour rain delay game?

I literally wanted to copy and paste the same sentence that Razz did. For some reason, it just struck me as hilarious. Kinda like opting out of a movie with a date because you really don't like the movie he/she has chosen and you're really not into them enough to force yourself to sit through it.

Update. LA is not in the cellar. Yet.

Bored shitless. Love that phrase.

You're giving Razz a run for his money in the pansy-ass slacker race. Congrats boys.

Ditto XC2.

The only MLB game I ever went to was rained delayed for about two hours. I was miserable. Though I could see how watching the game would be entertaining without the crappy weather.

The trails are where it's at. More trees and rocks than annoyances (street lights, punks on skateboards, etc).
When I'm in a rut, I find some extra time to run without a watch and with no one around...seek the trails!

Beer helps too.

The beer doesn't really help with the running. Just everything else.
