Flashback Friday: All You Get

You don't like poems
Well that's just too bad for you
I don't give a shit

***

Here is yet one more
With a different
Rhythmic scheme you don't approve

***

Happy Hour is near
I haven't run since Tuesday
Run well and drink well

That may be your best Haiku yet. And by best, I mean absolute worst.

Someone's cranky.

If your knee isn't too bad and you need running motivation, I'm sure Razz and XC2 wouldn't mind an additional participant in our competition. Just let us know.

Does hour have one or two syllables?

Heh.

I dig some Viper anyway.
Happy Weekend!

LMAO at Nic!

Well if there is a swear word in there it gets a A from me. But that's not saying much.

Snarking in haiku
Requires too much forethought
Defeats the purpose

I thought a haiku was one of those anime cats. My mistake.

Ha. Viper, my second period has been camped out on your website for 30 minutes. (forgot to leave you!)

Just supporting the Haiku effort!

The first one is especially poignant today. It's always nice to see a man speaking emotionally, from his heart. Typically, it means he's already drunk. Happy Friday.

At least this time we received multiple poems. I am slightly mollified with this post.

I like the softer poetic side. Keep us updated if the mantears start flowing.

I liked your other verse better. I'm not a big fan of Haiku.

Viper, at my 10K near Sac yesterday, this guy came running by me in a shirt that said, "We are a drinking club with a running problem."

I immediately thought he was one of *your* gang, but he was going too fast, natch, for me to catch him. LOL
