Dirty Laundry

Tuesday is usually a running day, but this morning's discovery changed that. Downstairs, in the basement, where a dresser holds my running gear, except for when that running gear sits in a pile ready to be washed.

I forgot to do my laundry.

Maybe the boss man will let us go home early today on the eve of the holiday, and I can wash my clothes and get out for a run before Mrs. Viper gets off work. Here's to hoping!

But I'm not holding my breath.

Tomorrow is a holiday, and my run can be done before the festivities begin. With that said, no post tomorrow. Savor this one, OK?

Happy Independence Day, my fellow Americans. And happy belated Canada Day, you crazy Canucks. Get your cookout and your beer on. Cheers!

We go through so much laundry during the summer months, I can't imagine not having something to wear!

What, you mean you don't wear your running clothes multiple times before washing? :)

I figure, if they're already stinky, and I'm going to go out and get sweaty anyway, then it doesn't matter if they aren't fresh. No one's going to care.

If it's a choice between no run and run-in-dirty-clothes... I'd choose the latter!

Then again, maybe I've been reading too many memoirs of thru-hiking the PCT and AT...

Happy Fourth!
