Running on New Roads

As this winter is winding down and my running starts to pick up again, my writing attention has turned elsewhere. This week I've launched a second blog, which might mean a little less to read at Team BHI HQ for the meantime -- at least until running becomes a constant again in my life.

However, if you'd like to see what I'm up to, go check out my new blog, The Glory-Beaming Banjo. As you might be able to tell from the title, my new site is all about the banjo and the music I play on it.

My new blogging pursuit will be a little more serious in terms of reporting, as I already have an interview in the works of my favorite banjo player, Mark Olitsky of Cleveland. I'll be putting together a profile of him next week and have planned more interviews like this for future posts.

So if you've enjoyed my little diversions into the banjo on this blog, go check out more on the five string. This week's posts will be a crash course for banjo and Old-Time music newbies and give an introduction of what The Glory-Beaming Banjo is all about. I hope you join me for the ride. Cheers!

Why have you never profiled one Cleveland's finest drunks? I'm just saying, you can use a good idea on both blogs.

Will you reveal your true identity on the new blog? If so I'm so there!
