I'd Rather it Snowed

Last night, I bared my rump to my hubris and dared it bite. I mentally prepared for a drenching six-miler all day at work, but the rain washed away all that motivation as I drove home from the office. It was one of those incessant autumn downpours that could turn to sleet at any moment. I'd much rather run in the snow. When I did get home, I had already talked myself into playing my banjo instead. How's that for an excuse, Salty?

I'd rather run in the snow too. It takes longer for your socks to become completely soaked.

Whatever...I drove all the way to Toledo to go running in the rain and the darkness with a bunch of other crazies. And there was beer. You need to toughen up, my friend. Or embrace hashing. Why look, there's a kennel in your area!

I feel like I should get on your ass about not running, but hell - I've been doing a lot of the same :-P Yay couch!

I feel your pain. Having said that, I did get out there and run and you didn't. Therefore I'm a bad-ass and you're just someone who's had a chunk taken out of his. Perhaps it's time to locate your cajones?

I understand...weather in the midwest can really bring you down. Even when you love running in shitty weather, it can take a while to acclimate to this "winter mix".
