This training cycle, I completely bought into the recovery run. The day after every long run, I ran three easy miles followed by two rest days. So, sticking to the pattern, I went out for a run the day after the Akron Marathon in my new shoes and took Monday and Tuesday off. My legs were sore Monday. My legs were sore yesterday. Today, there is not a trace of soreness in my legs.
This is the fastest I have healed from a marathon. I can't wait to run tonight.
