Here We Snow Again

Just after finishing a solid week of running, which followed two weeks of fallow running, word is that another winter storm is on its way to drop up to 10 inches of snow on Northeast Ohio. Great.

The age-old saying around these parts is if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes because it'll change. We're used to inconsistent weather, good or bad.

Well, the only thing that has been inconsistent about the weather this winter is the inconsistency. That is to say, it's been unusually consistent, consistently bad.

Boo.

Hiss.

Nothing really exciting last night. I did some core cross training. I like to think that I'm building important muscles for when it's nice enough outside to run at the track. Tonight, I hope to still run, but the forecast looks unfavorable.

I hope that white crap stays south and misses me completely. Enjoy.

Ummm...that's two consecutive posts without even the faintest hint of alcohol on your breath or in your post. Why exactly do you think we read this website? For your running/exercising info?
Hardly.

I was astonished when my folks emailed me the pictures of all the snow back in Aurora, OH (not too far from where you are!). Pretty soon, you are going to be running out of space after you are done with shoveling!

It does sound like the weather is getting to you. And not in a lying-on-the-floor-in-a-drunken-stupor way, either. This is troubling. Are you off your self-meds?

I was wondering about the lack of mention of booze too.

sorry about the storm.

So, I shouldn't rub it in that it was 78 and sunny here today?

I feel your pain. The piles of snow on both side of my driveway is higher then my car.

It's snowing in D.C. too, not 10 inches, but enough with icy that the sidewalks and roads are bad news.

I think about 20 states claim that "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes" as their state motto. Is it spring yet?

Soooo...did you get socked or what? My mom reported eight inches of fresh snow in Chesterland. She also said my dad went running this morning and SHE JUST COULDN'T BELIEEEEEVE it. I said, "Well, I went out for six miles myself." :)

We're getting shat on by the same snow. Crap! I was hoping it would finish doing its business by the time it got here, then flush over Lake Erie...

For once, the crap weather is completely skipping the Chicago area. I think it feels bad for us, given the Blago circumstances.

Good luck with the snow. My parents said it's supposed to be around 12 inches!
