Flashback Friday: Packed Weekend

This weekend is going to be brutal. The Enthusiast and I will be busy, busy, busy.

Yesterday was the third Thursday of November. You know what that means. Every year, Martini hosts a Beaujolais Nouveau party on the Friday after its release, wherein I consume my yearly quota of wine in one session.

Today is the Erratic Epicurean's 30th birthday, and tomorrow is her party. However, before that is the Kent State Folk Festival, where my local banjo hero will be giving a free workshop. I also promised the Enthusiast we'd see the latest Harry Potter biopic or whatever it is.

I'll be lucky if I can fit in a run or two. So it goes.

Back Talk
Wherein 'early' is a relative term.

Sun Runner and Jamoosh both made some comment like my morning is less morningesque than theirs.

Answer: I have a 20-minute commute with light traffic through a national park. I can afford to sleep in. It doesn't make it any easier to get up earlier than I'm used to arising.

Happy Hour is nearly upon us, teammates. Have a finely brewed weekend. Run well and drink well. Cheers!

I'll give you credit for being a good fiancee. I enjoy the HP series, but there's no way in hell I would see HP 7 on its first weekend out. I treasure my limited remaining sanity too much. You might want to consider bringing a flask.

Happy weekend!

Watch out for me on the Towpath tomorrow! 20 miles here I come!

Of course, I'm starting at Lock 39 in Valley View and turning around before I get to the Boston Store, so I probably wouldn't run (ha ha) into you anyway.

I agree with Xenia-- stay far, far away from HP7 on opening weekend. *shudder*

Dumbledore dies.

Oh, wait, was that the last one?

I have zero wit this morning, hence you are stuck with, "enjoy your weekend of partying."

Just saw an awesome PBS segment of Steve Martin (the comedian and banjo player) playing; thought you'd enjoy!
